I HAVE SHORT HAIR, CAN I WEAR CLIP-INS?

If your hair is cut completely short – then the answer is no.

In general, we recommend that you have at least 15-20 centimetres of hair before you can get the natural and seamless transition.

HOW LONG WILL MY CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS LAST?

Extensionaire extensions are designed for long-lasting beauty when properly cared for. Our clip-ins are made with the same premium quality throughout our collections and can last anywhere from 12 months to several years. The longevity depends on factors such as frequency of use, maintenance, and the products you use to care for them.

CAN I DYE MY CLIP-INS?

Our extensions are made from 100% real human hair, which means you can dye them – but not necessarily that you should.

We recommend that you avoid permanent hair colour for your extensions, instead use a semi-permanent.

HOW DO I WASH MY CLIP-INS?

How you should wash and care for your extensions depends on the type of hair extensions you have. Ready-to-wear extensions should be washed by hand and semi-permanent extensions should be washed while they are in the hair.

Don’t worry, you will receive an Aftercare Card with your order.

CAN I USE HEAT ON MY EXTENSIONS?

All of our extensions are made from 100% real human hair, which means you can heat style them just like you would your own hair.

A round of straightening can soften your extensions and give them more shine as it seals in the hair’s cuticle. So it’s a good idea to finish your hair care with some heat protection and a straightener.

Always remember to use heat protection before you use any heating tools.

Our Invisible Clip-Ins are expertly crafted with precision and care, offering a flawless, undetectable finish. Unlike standard clip-ins that can feel bulky or visible, our ultra-thin wefts lie perfectly flat against your scalp — blending effortlessly with your natural hair.

Step by step guide

Step 1.

Create a horizontal parting with a pintail comb and secure the it over the parting with an alligator clip to avoid it slipping down.

Step 2.

In sections, backcomb the hair closest to the parting and secure with hairspray. This procedure ensures that the hair and stays in place.

Step 3.

Open the clips by bending them backwards. You will hear a click.

Step 4.

Attach the clips just below the parting and click to secure. If your clip-in set contains wefts with different widths, attach the widest wefts at the widest point of your head, normally the back and the narrowest wefts at the sides. The wefts should sit neatly and securely on your head.

Step 5.

All clipped in, you’re now read. Style as desired and finish off by gently brushing through it, ensuring it blends evenly with your own hair – stunning hair in no time!
