Extensionaire’s tape-in hair extensions are a premium option for those seeking a quick and easy installation method. These extensions are made of the highest quality 100% double-drawn Remy human hair and come with 20 pieces and 50 grams of hair per package.

The tape-in method is suitable for all hair types and is particularly great for those with thin hair. The extensions are attached by sandwiching your natural hair between two pre-taped wefts, resulting in soft strands of hair and an almost invisible finish. The installation process typically takes between 1-2 hours from start to finish, making tape-in extensions one of the fastest types of extensions to install.

The number of tape-in hair extensions required to achieve the desired outcome is dependent on the individual’s hair thickness and desired result.

For individuals seeking to add extra volume to their hair without adding length, 1 to 2 packs of tapes are generally sufficient.

If an individual’s hair is thin or normal in thickness, and they want to achieve both length and fullness, 2 to 3 packs of tapes may be required.

For those with short or very thick hair, approximately 3 to 4 packs of tapes are typically needed to achieve the desired look.

Choosing a Length

When choosing the length of your hair extensions, it is important to keep in mind that a good rule of thumb is not to exceed double the length of your natural hair. For example, if your hair is 25 cm long from your parting, your extensions should be no longer than 50 cm. This ensures that the transition between your natural hair and the extensions looks seamless and does not place excessive weight on your hair.

The length of extensions can vary depending on an individual’s height. The longer you are, the shorter extensions will feel and vice versa. A helpful way to determine where a specific length will end is to use a measuring tape and hold it next to the top of your ear, then measure downwards 30-70 cm to see where the extensions will end approximately.
